Dear all,
I discovered po4a from the french ubuntu's wiki page (and it sounds
like awesome :) ) and this page teaches us that po4a is suitable for
some languages like C, C++, perl, python (for the moment, I'm
interesting in python).

However, I didn't find any note about this feature in the man page nor
your website. So, is it a mistake? or there is a hack to do it?

as far as i can tell, the raison-d'être of po4a is that the gettext tools
were only made for C/C++, so there needed a way to reproduce the
functionality provided by gettext for documentation and various other
formats.
for C and C++, gettext is perfect. Python can be gettext-ized quite well
too:

Yep, I'm using it. :) I just wondering if it was possible with po4a
toward the wiki content, but you're right, gettext is sufficient.
Anyways, it is a excellent tool. I think it will make many of my tasks
easier. ;)

i guess if there existed a way to extract code strings into text files, po4a
could process these text files... but really, for code, gettext itself is
the way to go.
