If someone wants to do so, I'd be happy to give the relevant rights so
that it gets done. My personal feeling is that very few people would
learn about the release this way, so I am not a volunteer for that.
I learned about the release from your message in this ML but still I
don't assume that any potential user did register.
I think that the home page should display an up to date information and
volunteer to update it. Even if few people get the info this way, that
won't hurt.
