I think they might be using the rough xml module without passing any
parameter. It's usually not usable (for example, it doesn't have lists of
inline tags). They should try the Docbook module, it's much more polished
for this particular kind of documents.
Thanks for the tip. I was suspecting something like this and that's why I
didn't want to speak up in the first place. I'll forward this information.
